We have already booked URC church in Princes Street Norwich for our Christmas Concert; this will take place on Friday 15th December.


December is going to be a busy time for us, as for many choirs.

We return to Blofield Church on Friday 2nd December for a concert comprising Christmas music and non-Christmas music.  It starts at 7.00 pm.

The following week, Saturday 10th sees us at Saxlingham Nethergate at 7.00 pm.  Although we have been asked to sing by the Church, the concert will actually be held in the Village Hall. Cheese and wine will be provided.

Then on Saturday 17th at 7.00 pm we shall be holding our annual Concert of Christmas music and carols, with some audience participation.  As last year it will be held in United Reform Church, Princes Street, Norwich, and will include festive drinks and eats.  Tickets costing £8 except for those under16 (free of charge) can be purchased from members of the choir or at the door. We will look forward to seeing you there.

The year started with a Memorial Service in Norwich Cathedral for Hilary King, who had been a regular member of our choir for about 30 years.  The organist was David Dunnett.

Our concert Programme opened at Little Melton Church on Saturday 23rd April.

Then we returned to St Remigius Church, Hethersett on Saturday 11th June.   "Music for a Summer Evening" started at 7.30 pm. with music from 17th to 21st Century.  Strawberries and cream, wine or juice were served during the interval.  Admission was free, and there was a retiring collection.

Hempnall Church, on Saturday 25th June is then the venue for our following concert.


Our annual Carol Concert took place on Saturday 12th December in United Reform Church, Princes Street, Norwich. This was our first concert in our new venue. 

We sang in Poringland Community Centre on Friday 4th December, and a good time was had by all!
We sang in St Margaret's Church Hempnall on 4th July at 7.00 p.m., followed the next day by our singing in The Bishop's Gardens again at 2.30 pm..  

We sang in the Bishop's Gardens on Sunday 26th April and at The Grove, Leonard Cheshire Home, on 7th June.
We start with a concert in the Octagon Chapel in Colegate, Norwich, on Sunday, 2nd February, starting at 3.00 pm.  This is in aid of "Musical Keys", a charity devoted to helping children with learning difficulties and other disabilities.
We are also singing in South Walsham Church on 14th June.
Our annual Christmas Carol Concert was held in St George's Church, Colegate, Norwich. We thank the PCC of the church, and all our friends who came to listen AND sing.
Saturday 14th December was the day of our Annual Christmas Carol Concert, starting at 7.30 pm.  Once again it was held in St George's Church, Colegate, Norwich.  Our organist this year was Neil Ricketts. Our thanks go to all those who supported us as well as the Churchwardens and PCC of St George's for allowing us to use their church for our concert.
Our previous concert took place on 8th December at St Mary's Church, Long Stratton.  The audience was large, and the refreshments superb!
Saturday 15th June we gave a concert at Saint Remigius Church, Hethersett.  It comprised the "Messa di Gloria" by Giacomo Puccini and choral gems from 16th Century to the present day.  Our guest accompanist was Neil Ricketts, who is well-known in Hethersett and beyond.  This was in aid of the Anglian Singers and the church's roof repair fund.   Refreshments, in the form of strawberries and cream, wine and soft drinks, were served in the interval.
Thank you so much to everyone involved in this concert: the churchwardens and all who belong to St Remigius Church;  those who sold tickets;  those who helped "on the door" and with the refreshments;  the members of the Anglian Singers;  John Barham and Kate Trett;  Neil Ricketts;  all those who came to listen to us.  It was a wonderful evening!
Saturday 11th May saw us at St Helen's Church on Gurney Road, New Costessey.  This was in aid of the church's fund-raising for repairs to the roof.
Saturday 9th March at Holy Trinity Church, Essex Street, Norwich, the choir sang at the funeral of Jan Miller, one of our sopranos and wife of Nick, one of our basses.  We will miss her.
Saturday 15th December, St George's Church Colegate hosted our annual Christmas Carol Concert, starting at 7.00 pm.  Please note the day and time. Tickets are £7 each (no concessions), including light refreshments.  They can be obtained from members of the choir, "on the door", or by contacting this website.
Saturday 1st December, we sang at St Stephen's Church in Norwich, to support them following their extensive repairs and refurbishment.  
Saturday 19th May, we sang in Upton Church.
Monday 19th December, St George's Church, Colegate, Norwich, starting at 7.30 pm.  This will be our second annual Christmas Carol Concert in this church.  Come and hear old and new carols, and join the choir in some well-known ones.  The price of tickets is £6, with £4 for those aged 12 and under.
Saturday 8th October, we sang at St Edmunds Church, Acle.  
Saturday 17th September, we sang in a concert at St Mary's Church, Watton, starting at 7.30pm.
Saturday 9th July, we sang in a "Summer Concert" at St Edmund's Church, Caistor St Edmund. 
Sunday 12th June, Music By The Lake at The Grove Cheshire Home, East Carleton, Norwich.
The event took place between 2.00 pm. and 5.00 pm.  We performed  from 2.00 to 2.30 and from 3.00 to 3.30, with other musicians filling the other "slots".
Saturday 18th December, St George's Church, Colegate, Norwich.  Our annual Christmas Carol Concert had a change of venue, change of day, and change of start time.  Our thanks go to the Churchwardens and P.C.C. of St George's for allowing us the use of their church, and to Anne Duarte for the playing of the organ.  Many thanks also to all those who supported us on the most atrocious of evenings, weather-wise.
Saturday 17th July, All Saints Church, Little Melton.
Saturday 19th June, St Mary Magdalene Church, Silver Road, Norwich. 
Saturday 13th March, St Peter Mancroft Church, Norwich,a concert on behalf of Rotary.  We were joined by Hethersett Steelers, Framingham Earl School instrumentanlists, and Broadland Youth Choir.
